KATHMANDU INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL (KIMFF)

kimff logoKIMFF is a competitive festival that provides filmmakers with an excellent platform to share new works. About 50 films will be selected for the festival. Although there are no thematic restrictions, the festival will highlight two themes in film selection this year. In the domestic arena, given the post-conflict, reconstruction-minded context of Nepal, the organizers will include films that capture this country’s social transition. In the global arena, the organizers will include films that tackle the environmental and ecological challenges our planet faces because of global warming.
